Biography of Adrienne Dunn
Adrienne Dunn's entire legal career has been dedicated to the zealous and ethical representation of the criminally accused.
In April 2004, Ms. Dunn joined the criminal defense law firm of Broden & Mickelsen. Being an associate at Broden & Mickelsen not only gave Ms. Dunn the opportunity to hone her trial skills, it opened the door to the challenges of criminal appellate and post-conviction litigation.
Ms. Dunn's commitment to criminal defense continues into her own private practice. She represents clients through pre-trial investigations, plea bargain negotiations, trials, appeals, and post-conviction litigation.
Ms. Dunn is in good standing with the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern District of Texas and the Eastern District of Texas. Additionally, Ms. Dunn is a member of National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Criminal
Justice Section of the American Bar. Ms. Dunn is also the co-chair person for the Aid to the Homeless Committee of the Dallas Young Lawyers Association. In 2005, Ms. Dunn was admitted to the Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court.
Ms. Dunn was selected as a 2008, 2007 and 2006 Texas Rising Star by TEXAS MONTHLY, Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star. Based on peer reviews, only 2.5 percent of all Texas lawyers receive this honor annually as being among the top up-and-coming lawyers in the state.
Ms. Dunn graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2000 with a degree in sociology. In 2003, Ms. Dunn graduated from Texas Tech School of Law. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year.
